Bella received a Bachelor's of Science degree from Saint Thomas Aquinas College. Bella also studied at New York Medical College. She received her Holistic Nutrition training and certification at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, which is the only nutrition school integrating all the different dietary theories—combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts from David Wolfe, Authority of superfoods and raw foods nutrition, Geneen Roth, Dr. Joseph Mercola, Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of Integrative Medicine, University of Arizona, Sally Fallon Morrell, Founding President of the Weston A. Price Foundation, and the USDA food pyramid, the glycemic index, and the Zone.
